As Principal Consultant at Movato LLC, he leverages insider knowledge of the State’s IT ecosystem to help technology companies translate their capabilities into solutions that win contracts, earn trust, and deliver measurable impact.
George’s career includes serving as Agency Information Officer (AIO) for the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency, where he oversaw a $1.6B IT portfolio spanning seven departments. In this role, he guided enterprise-scale modernization efforts, shaped governance models, and worked directly with department CIOs, executives, and control agencies to deliver mission-critical outcomes.
